I started my restaurant career in Evansville Indiana nineteen years ago at the chain called JoJo’s. First job, and it was a good night if I walked out of there with $17 in tips, a lot has changed. I spent summers growing up in Indiana with my father and step mom. But did my real maturing in Colorado growing up with my sister, Jess. Born in Colorado Springs I started working for Old Chicago as a busser. I worked for the Rock Bottom corporation at several locations including Fort Collins, and Scottsdale Arizona.
I moved to Summit County in May of 2011. And I believe I may never leave. I helped open the Rio Grande in Frisco before I was courted to Silverheels and Kemosabe. I fell in love with the mountains and am truly grateful for the opportunity to create a life in Summit county. My mom, Joan, has always been a large part of my restaurant life and I have her to thank for all the support. My passion for this community and all the wonderful outdoor activities grows daily. I am thankful for Tara, my soon to be wife, for all the wisdom and support in this busy lifestyle. And the love from my labrador, Porter and golden retriever, Fiona.
